The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
